Every case has a cast of client-side contacts. Two very different kinds exist, and confusing them is the #1 source of access questions:
1 · The case’s HR Partner (Client)
One designated person per case. This is the only client-side role that can see medical detail, and the person the platform asks for eligibility data. Set by the Humareso team when the case is created — if it should be someone else, tell them.
2 · Points of contact (POCs)
Everyone else looped in on the case. POCs are notification recipients: they get case updates and see basic case info only — leave dates, status, and approvals. Medical details stay hidden regardless of the label:
- Manager — Looped in on updates. Dates, status, approvals — enough to plan coverage.
- HR Partner — Looped in on updates. Despite the name, no medical access — that requires being the case’s designated HR Partner (Client) above.
- Client contact — Looped in on updates. Basic case info only.
Your company also has a standing POC directory that Humareso maintains with you — the usual people (a benefits lead, a division HR manager) who auto-suggest onto new cases so nobody is forgotten. Ask your Humareso contact to add or change directory entries.
POC vs. participant. Being a POC means you get notifications. Being named on the case as its manager, requestor, or HR Partner also lets you open and read it (a “participant”). Either way, only the case’s HR Partner sees medical detail — everyone else is redacted. See What you can see on a case.
