What happens to my objectives when a season ends?

Completed and reviewed objectives are frozen into the season summary. For objectives still in progress, your organization's At season end setting decides:

• Ask each owner. A banner on your Objectives page lists each open objective with Carry forward, Mark complete and Abandon.
• Carry forward automatically. Engage copies each open objective into the new season on the morning after the boundary.
• Do nothing. Open objectives stay as they are.

Carrying forward keeps the key results, takes each one's current value as the new starting value, moves the delivery date to the end of the new season, and links the new objective back to the old one, which goes for review.
