How to Turn On Browser Notifications for Leave

Browser push notifications let Leave alert you about case updates even when the Leave tab is in the background. You turn them on once per browser.

Turn On Push Notifications

1. Sign in at leave.humareso.com.
2. In the left sidebar, find the controls near the bottom. On a phone, select More to open the menu first.
3. Select Turn on push notifications.
4. When your browser asks for permission, choose Allow.

The button changes to Push notifications on.

Turn Them Off

1. Select Push notifications on.

The button changes back to Turn on push notifications.

What You'll See

The button sits above Send us a message in the sidebar and shows a bell icon when push is on.

Common Scenarios

• The button says Push blocked by browser. You or your browser denied permission earlier. Leave cannot ask again. Open your browser's site settings for leave.humareso.com, set notifications to Allow, then reload the page.
• You do not see the button at all. Your browser does not support push notifications, or the sidebar is collapsed. Expand the sidebar, or try a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
• You use more than one browser or device. Turn push on in each one.
• You want to choose which updates you get. Open Notifications to pick channels for each type of update. See Set Notifications & Change Language.

Troubleshooting

You allowed notifications but nothing arrives. Check that your computer or phone is not in a do-not-disturb mode, and that browser notifications are allowed in your system settings.
