This guide shows administrators how to connect Claude to their Humareso Engage data using the Humareso connector. Once connected, you can ask an AI assistant plain-language questions about your organization, such as why someone is not receiving their feedback cards or whether an email was delivered, and get answers drawn straight from your live Engage data.
Before You Begin
You need three things to set this up:
- An administrator account. The connector is available to Humareso administrators with data-query access. Standard users and managers will not see any data through it.
- Your Humareso login. You sign in with the same Humareso account you already use. There are no API keys, tokens, or passwords to copy or paste.
- A Claude account that supports custom connectors. Custom connectors are configured in Claude on the web at claude.ai.
Connecting Claude to Humareso
Add the Humareso Connector
- Open claude.ai in your browser and sign in.
- Open your Settings, then open the Connectors section.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- In the URL field, enter https://agent.humareso.com/mcp.
- Confirm to add the connector. Humareso now appears in your list of connectors.
Log In Through Humareso
- Next to the Humareso connector, choose Connect.
- A Humareso sign-in page opens. Log in with your existing Humareso account, the same way you sign in to Engage.
- Review what the connector is allowed to do. It requests read-only access to your organization’s data.
- Choose Allow to finish. You return to Claude and the Humareso connector shows as connected.
What You’ll See
The Humareso connector appears in your connector list marked as connected. In a new chat, Claude can now use it to answer questions about your Engage data. You do not need to do anything else; just ask your question in plain language and Claude pulls the answer from Engage.
What You Can Ask
The connector is built around the questions administrators ask most. For example:
- Card delivery. “Why isn’t Jordan getting their feedback cards?” or “Did Priya get her cards this week?” Claude reports what is pending, how many cards were served and answered, and the reason when someone is not being served.
- Email and notification history. “Was the reminder email to this person sent, or did it bounce?” or “When did they last receive a card notification?”
- General questions about your organization. Ask about your users, teams, and objectives. Claude reads the same data you can already see in Engage.
Answers are always scoped to your own organization, and the assistant can only read data. It cannot change anything, send messages, or take actions on your behalf.
Security and Privacy
- Read-only. The connector can look up and report data. It cannot create, edit, delete, or send anything.
- Scoped to your organization. You only ever see your own organization’s data, the same as when you log in to Engage.
- Your own login. Access is tied to your Humareso account and your permissions. Nothing is shared beyond what your account can already see.
- Disconnect anytime. Remove the Humareso connector from the Connectors section of Claude’s settings whenever you want. Access ends immediately.
Troubleshooting
I connected, but Claude does not seem to have any Humareso tools.
A connection loads its tools when it is first connected. If you connected before the latest update, remove the Humareso connector and add it again so it picks up the current set of tools.
I sign in but the connector says I am not authorized.
The connector is limited to administrators with data-query access. Ask your Humareso contact to confirm your account has the right access.
The answers are only about my organization.
That is by design. The connector is scoped to your own organization, so every answer is limited to your data.
