This guide shows administrators how to set which habits each person on your team is scored on. By the end, you will be able to add or remove habits for any team member so their feedback providers rate the behaviors that matter for their role.
Before You Begin
Check your access and where your habits come from:
- Role. Administrators can manage habits for anyone in the organization. Managers can manage habits for members of their own team. Standard users can adjust only their own habits from the Manage tab on the Habits page.
- Your habit library. The habits you assign come from your organization habit library. If a habit you want does not appear in the list, create it first in the Admin tab on the Habits page, then assign it.
Assigning Habits to a Team Member
- Go to Admin, then People, then Users.
- Find the person and click their name. Their profile panel opens.
- Click Manage Habits. The habit picker opens.
- Habits are grouped into four categories: Core, People, Technical, and Results. Click a category to expand it and see the habits inside.
- Click a habit to add it. Selected habits appear as chips across the top, with a running count of the total.
- To remove a habit, click the X on its chip, or click the habit again to uncheck it.
- Use the Search habits box to jump straight to a habit by name.
- When the selection looks right, click Save Changes.

What You'll See
The person now has exactly the habits you selected. Adding a habit automatically sets up its feedback questions, so their feedback providers begin scoring those behaviors right away. Removing a habit stops new feedback on it while keeping the scores already collected, so history is never lost.
Giving Several People the Same Habits
The habit picker works one person at a time. There is no button in the app to copy one person’s habits onto a group.
- A few people. Open each person in turn and select the same habits, following the steps above. This is quick for two or three people.
- Many people at once. If you need the same habit set applied across a large group, for example matching everyone in a role to a team lead, contact Humareso support. We can copy the habits for you in one step.
Common Scenarios
- New hire in an existing role. Match the new person’s habits to a peer already doing the job so they are scored on the same behaviors from day one.
- Someone changes roles. When a person moves teams, swap their habits to fit the new role. Past scores on the old habits are preserved.
- Standardizing a team. Give everyone on a team the same core set of habits so feedback is consistent across the group.
- The habit does not exist yet. If the behavior you want to score is not in your library, open the Admin tab on the Habits page and create it first, then assign it to your people.

Tips
- Keep each person’s set focused. Eight to twelve habits is a good range; more than that can overwhelm the people giving feedback.
- Assign habits before a feedback cycle starts. Adding or removing habits mid-cycle changes what feedback is being collected.
- Removing a habit is safe. It stops new feedback on that habit but keeps every score already gathered.
Troubleshooting
I do not see the People area or the Manage Habits button.
Managing another person’s habits requires the Administrator role, or Manager access over that person’s team. Ask your Humareso contact to confirm your access.
I added habits but the person has no feedback questions.
Feedback questions are created when a habit is added. If the person still has no feedback coming in, check that their Feedback Circle has providers assigned. You can open it from the same profile panel using the Feedback Circle button.
