How to send a fax using SmartFax
To compose a fax:
- Log into SmartFax using the credentials in Keeper
- Click the Compose button.
- Add fax recipients. You can do this several ways:
- By entering their full name and fax number in the appropriate fields, then clicking the Add Recipient button. Repeat as needed for each recipient. (Check the Save Contact box to save recipient information to your contact list before clicking the Add Recipient button.)
- By using already saved contacts. Click the Recipients icon and check the boxes of contacts you wish to use for this fax, then click the Add button.
- If desired, click the Additional Settings arrow to select the fax quality and send-notification email address from the dropdown menus. You can also enter a Reference ID for this fax.
- If desired, check the Include Cover Page box and enter the cover page subject and message. NOTE: When this option is selected, you MUST include a cover page subject and message, otherwise the Send Fax button will not activate.
- Click the Attachments field to browse for and select files, or drag and drop files into the field. You can preview your attachments by clicking the file name.
- When done, click the Send Fax button.
