How to I import locations into HubSpot?
By using a simple Excel template, you can create locations in bulk in minutes, including points of contact.
Step 1: Download the Template
Make sure you have the Excel template filled out with the correct information. This will have your company’s locations, contacts, and companies all in one file.
NOTE: You DONT NEED to use our template if the data is already in an export. Just make sure you include the Company ID and an Contact Email.
Step 2: Go to HubSpot Imports
1.Log in to your HubSpot account.
2.Click on the settings gear icon in the top right corner.
3.In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Data Management > Import.
Step 3: Start the Import Process
1.Click the Start an Import button.
2.Select File from Computer and click Next.
3.Choose Multiple Objects because you are importing more than one type of data (locations, contacts, and companies). Click Next.
Step 4: Upload the Template
1.Click Select a File and upload the Excel template.
2.Click Next once the file is uploaded.
Step 5: Map Your Data
1.HubSpot will ask you to match columns from your Excel file to fields in HubSpot.
2.Go through each column (Location Name, Address, Contact Info, etc.) and make sure HubSpot understands what the data is.
3.If HubSpot gets something wrong, click on the dropdown next to the field and choose the right option.
Step 6: Review & Finish
1.Once all your columns are mapped correctly, click Next.
2.Review the summary of your import.
3.If everything looks good, click Finish Import.
